Making a Payment

Payments for property tax bills, local business tax renewals, motor vehicle registration renewals, mobile home registration renewals, and vessel (boats) registration renewals may be made by cash, check, money order, or may be made online using your credit card, debit card, or e-check (electronic check directly from your bank account). In addition, property taxes can be paid via wire transfer. See below for an explanation of each form of payment.

Checks or money orders are made payable to “CAROLE JEAN JORDAN, TAX COLLECTOR ”, in U.S. funds and drawn on U.S. banks.

2. Online Payments

We accept payments online by American Express®, Discover®, MasterCard®, Visa®, debit cards with a MasterCard© or Visa® logo, and e-check (electronic check directly from your bank account). All transactions are secure and provided to you through a third party processor, Grant Street Group, Inc. Service charges apply for credit and debit cards, however, e-checks are free.

3. In-Person Office Payments

For TAX, DMV, Driver License and Hunting/Fishing payments, we accept: American Express®, Discover®, MasterCard®, Visa®, debit cards with a MasterCard© or Visa® logo in person at any of the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office locations.  All transactions are secure and provided to you through a third party processor, Grant Street Group, Inc.   Service charges do apply.

4. Wire Transfer Payments

Contact the tax department if you are interested in making a payment by wire transfer for current routing, account and wire fee information.
