Notice is hereby given that the annual real estate tax certificate sale will commence at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010.  The tax certificate sale will be conducted on the internet (www.IndianRiverTaxSale.com).  The tax certificate sale will be completed in one day on May 28, 2010.  Tax Certificates will be sold to pay the delinquent real property taxes, interest, costs of the sale and advertising.   The delinquent taxes include ad-valorem taxes (County, School, and City) and non-ad valorem assessments. 

The 2009 Delinquent Real Estate Tax Parcels will be published in the Indian River Press Journal on May 12, 19, and 26, 2010. After the payment deadline of 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2010, the Tax Collector is unable to change the delinquent publications.

In order to avoid a tax certificate being sold against unpaid taxes on your property, payment must be RECEIVED by mail, internet or hand delivered to one of the three Indian River County Tax Collector's Offices no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2010.

In order to assist the potential certificate buyer in identifying parcel locations, we are making available a parcel number cross reference list which indicates the site location addresses.

Both the 2009 Delinquent Real Estate Tax Advertisement and the Parcel Number Cross Reference List are available as a download.  Each file can be downloaded by clicking on the name of the file below in the format you select.

These files are not warranted and are intended for general use.  Property owners' names and parcel locations in these files reflect those on the Certified Tax Roll received from the Property Appraiser in October 2009.
