Notice of 2008 Tax Certificate Sale

Notice is hereby given that at 8:00 am on Thursday, May 29, 2008 and, if needed, Friday, May 30, 2008, I, Charles W. Sembler, Tax Collector of Indian River County, Florida, will sell Tax Certificates on the advertised described land to pay the amount due which includes costs, interest and prorated advertising as well as taxes. Said sale will be held in the County Commission Chambers at the County Administration Complex, 1801 27th Street - Building A, Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida.
The 2007 Delinquent Real Estate Tax parcels will be published in the Indian River Press Journal on May 14th, 21st and 28th. Due to the additional cost of removing a taxpayer's name from the delinquent publications, the Tax Collector will be unable to remove a taxpayer's name from the delinquent publications if payment for taxes was received after 5:00 pm, Friday, May 2, 2008.
In order to avoid a tax certificate being sold against unpaid taxes on your property, payment must be received by mail, internet or walk-in at one of the three Indian River County Tax Collector's Offices no later than 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2008.

In order to assist the potential certificate buyer in identifying parcel locations, we are making available a parcel number cross reference list which indicates the site location addresses.
Both the 2007 Delinquent Real Estate Tax Advertisement and the Parcel Number Cross Reference List are available as a download. Each file can be downloaded by clicking on the name of the file below in the format you select.
These files are not warranted and are intended for general use. Property owner's names and parcel locations in these files reflect those on the Certified Tax Roll received from the Property Appraiser in October, 2007.
