General Information

The Indian River County Tax Collector's Office is pleased to offer payment of taxes via the Internet. Please note there is a service charge associated with this service. This office does not charge or retain any portion of this fee.

The only way we can offer these payment options is through a third party processor, Point And Pay, Inc. We offer this strictly as a convenience. We are finding that taxpayers are increasingly using these optional methods of payment for their convenience or to take advantage of reward programs offered by the credit card companies. It would not be financially prudent for our office to pay these service charges with taxpayer dollars, particularly for those taxpayers who do not elect to use these methods of payment.

Taxpayers may also elect to either mail in their payment or pay at any of our branch offices.

Presently, our office accepts Visa®, MasterCard® , Discover®, American Express® or Debit card with a Visa® or MasterCard© logo, for the following transactions on-line:

  • Property Taxes
  • Local Business Tax Renewals
  • Motor Vehicle Registration Renewals
  • Mobile Home Registration Renewals
  • Vessel (Boat) Registration Renewals

All transactions are secure and encrypted for your protection.

Once your transaction has been confirmed, you can expect to receive a receipt via e-mail* for your transaction. In addition, any applicable materials such as a valid registration (with tag and/or decal), or renewed local business tax receipt, will be mailed to you within 5 business days, and authenticates your payment obligation and lawful compliance.

* Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are PUBLIC RECORDS.

If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity.  Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.

Attention:   The on-line payment validation only confirms your transaction with the Indian River County Tax Collector's Office and does not replace or serve as a temporary substitute for a hard copy receipt, valid registration (with tag and/or decal), property tax receipt, or local business tax receipt. 

Individuals who engage in activities or operations that require a hard copy receipt, valid registration (with tag and/or decal), property tax receipt, or local business tax receipt and do not possess same are subject to law enforcement actions or other related government proceedings.

Point And Pay charges a  2.95% ($2.00 minimum) service charge for use of its e-payment services. To continue with your online payment, click "I Accept".
