Lost
or Stolen License Plates and/or Decals
- If your license plate and/or decal
has been lost or stolen, you must contact
your local law enforcement agency to report the loss or theft
prior to making application for a replacement.
- The owner(s) of the motor vehicle
must apply for a replacement license plate and/or decal.
- The replacement cost of a lost license
plate and/or decal is $17.60.
- When a license plate is reported stolen to
a law enforcement agency and a case number has been assigned, there
is no cost associated with this replacement, only if the case number
and the name of the law enforcement agency are provided.
