Home Fees ( all
fees are based on a single wide mobile home ):

The 12-month registration period begins on the first day of January. Per Florida Statute, mobile home registrations are not prorated, therefore, the full annual registration fee applies. In addition, failure to renew your mobile home registration before the 11 th day of January, will result in a penalty fee for late renewal. Warning: A mobile home without a current registration/decal can subject the owner(s) to a non-criminal infraction citation.

Lost
or Stolen Mobile Home Decals

If your decal has been lost or stolen, you must contact your local law enforcement agency to report the loss or theft prior to making application for a replacement.

The registered owner(s) of the mobile home must apply for a replacement decal.
- Please complete the Application for Replacement License Plate, Validation Decal, or Parking Placard (HSMV 83146),
- This application can either be mailed or completed in the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office. The most current mobile home registration is required.

The replacement cost of a lost decal is $17.60.

When a decal is reported stolen to law enforcement and a case number has been assigned, there is no cost associated with this replacement, only if the case number and the name of the law enforcement agency are provided.
Duplicate/Replacement
Mobile Home Registrations
- If you lost your mobile home registration, the registered owner(s) on record, only, for a mobile home may obtain a duplicate mobile home registration from the Indian River County Tax Collector’s office. Proper identification is required.
- The decal number, or vehicle identification number is requested for the issuance of a duplicate/replacement mobile home registration.
- The cost for duplicate/replacement mobile
home registration is $2.50.
